The Best way to bring the The Change - Be the change. We should start think and behave the way which we want to see in others. For eg. If we want to make our participants think positive, we should start thinking positive.
In my view both will not work as change in thinking and behaviour does not happen over night. Rather we can talk about alternate ways/approaches to deal any situation in assertive way. Then we need to ask them to make it part of their lifestyle which makes them to think based on their own environment ultimately bringing some change in behaviour.
E.g., The swatch bharath scheme changed the thinking of people to construct a toilet in their house. But they are not used, because behaviour has not changed. Thinking change can be temporary, last for 7 days after training. Behaviour changes are permanent.
